Ebony Beckwith is the salesforce chief business officer and the chief of staff to co-CEO Marc Benioff. She is also a finalist for the 2022 B2B Content Marketer of the Year. Ebony started the Salesforce foundation in 2008 and has been with Salesforce for 10 years. Ebony and Salesforce teamed up to create #BossTalks, a live video series that launched on LinkedIn in 2021. Ebony says LinkedIn was the perfect choice to be the home of the series because it's a platform that is widely used by professionals. The series features interviews with people in her network and those she admired and hadn’t met. The topics relate to what the community asks for, trending workplace topics, and the guests’ expertise. The first season of the series is now available on demand on the streaming platform, Salesforce+. Season four will be underway shortly on LinkedIn and salesforce+. The #BossTalks video series had a lot of success on LinkedIn and Salesforce+, but it was also popular on other channels. For example, The 360 Blog (owned by Salesforce) got over 13,000 views, and there were replays on Salesforce's YouTube channels. Ebony has learned that it's important to be a part of the community, not just talk to the audience. In October 2021, Marissa Kraines ( Salesforce's VP of social and content marketing) and her team ran a #bossTalks giveaway campaign. It was a big success, with 8.2 million views and 100,000+ engagements.
