George Hotz, who was the first person to jailbreak the iPhone, has turned down an offer to work for Elon Musk at Tesla. Hotz believes that he could develop a better self-driving car system than Musk's. However, the two have now come to an agreement in which Hotz will work for Musk for 12 weeks in exchange for the cost of living in San Francisco. George Hotz is implementing features that are common in other search engines. He wants to deliver relevant results that don't contain the exact words used in a query. He also wants to use Twitter to deliver contextual autocomplete results when users type "from:" in the search box. Twitter is planning to make some changes to their search feature, according to CEO Jack Dorsey. He has said that they will be removing the popup feature and making it easier for users to search within liked tweets. They are also planning on featuring Twitter's advanced search feature more prominently. Beyond those changes, it is mostly unknown what else they will be doing to improve their search function.
